Repair Café

Newlands Community Group have joined thousands of other communities across the globe in setting up a Repair Café.

On the 2nd Saturday of every month, people have brought along items - both unusual and everyday objects - which are no longer working or not working their best.

Our current team of volunteers are usually able to investigate issues with electronics, electrical items, and computers, as well as offering gardening equipment and kitchen knife sharpening services.

This incentive not only helps the environment, but also helps your pocket, by repairing rather than binning, your broken toys, push bikes, toasters, hoovers, and almost anything, we help reduce our carbon footprint.

The Repair Café operates on a donation basis, including the refreshments.
