The Building a Better Future Plan

Would you like to help us shape the future of Havant borough? Do you have ideas or concerns about our environment, housing or town centres?

This Plan – otherwise known as the Local Plan - sets out how the council will decide, manage and shape development in our borough and includes proposed sites for allocation where development could take place.

This consultation is live until Tuesday 1 July 2025. 

We are also consulting on the Waterlooville Town Centre Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) – a framework for the regeneration of the town centre - and St. Faith’s Conservation Area Review at the same time via the same online links.

Waterlooville Town Centre Public Art - Vote for your favourite style!

The latest stage of our town centre engagement is now live and you can vote for your preferred style to feature in public art at this location.

The latest play area refurbishment project is almost over - don't miss your chance to shape the future of Elizabeth Road play area in Stakes!

Subject to funding, Havant Borough Council plan to improve the provision at this site to ensure it continues to meet the needs of our community.

To make sure the new design is shaped and influenced by the people who visit this play area, we want to hear from you on what should be included so that the play area is suitable, fun and long lasting.
