ASDA Foundation Outdoor Community Spaces

A huge thank you to the Asda Foundation Outdoor Community Spaces grant. We received a cheque for £1000 to allow Newlands Community Group to pursue improving open spaces and green areas.

Under the banner of Newlands In Bloom we will be looking at a variety of projects, from informational workshops - such as ‘Planting for Nature’, developing an understanding of our environment - through activities such as a guided ‘Bat Walk’ or the planting of bulbs and wild flowers to feed nature.

Everyone we speak to states how much they love the open spaces and green areas, so let’s – as a community – take a pride in this and make it the best we can.
