About the event
During this month Newlands Community Group have been exploring the possibility of running a repair café.
We have looked at some of the ones that are running locally, and whether there was a need. So after careful consideration, we have decided this is something that would assist many people locally.
And now we need support from all of you.
We need volunteers to repair items, so if you have the skills that can repair push bikes, jewellery, electronics, fabric, and sewn items, or anything similar then please get in touch.
Our first meeting to discuss how this will run, start date etc,
will be on 14th May 7pm—8pm in Newlands Community Hall.
You do not have to be qualified, just have the skills and some time to spare.
If you can help with the running of this, administration, accounts, café work or provide cakes to sell we would also like to hear from you.
