Newlands in Bloom
Over the next few years the Newlands in Bloom project will be selecting different areas of the Berewood and Taylor Wimpey developments, and bringing colour and life, removing rubbish and debris, and creating a pleasant and living atmosphere.
As always we do this with the help of you, the residents. With your help we can enhance the world you live in.
So far we have had one meeting on the 16th April, which was very productive, giving us many ideas to work with. We have a second meeting scheduled for 7th May, so if you think you'd like to come along and have a listen to what's said or you think this is a long overdue idea, then please enter you details below, what you'd like to offer in the way of time or expertise and we will add you to the growing list of enthusiasts.
Project Site 1
The photo above of a rather drab looking seated eating area beside the river is the choice for our first project under the Newlands in Bloom banner. The site has so much potential, and will see a complete makeover during the project. The plan below provides a glimpse into the completed project layout. We plan to plant flowers and trees, to bloom not only when we plant, but throughout the seasons, leaving a lasting impact on this small but lovely part of the development. Volunteers from our own community, under the watchful guidance of our own in house experts, will be assisting in the work, helping all of us to keep costs down. Our plan over the coming years is move across areas of the development chosen by you, and create beautiful and enjoyable areas for us all to be proud of.
